5 Basic Air Fryer Recipes

We used our 7 Quart Digital Touchscreen Air Fryer to make these simple recipes.

This GoWISE USA Air Fryer is easy to operate. The large control panel features a one-touch menu screen with 8 cooking functions – Air Fry, Roast, Broil, Dehydrate, Grill, Bake, Reheat, and Keep Warm.



French Fries

Ingredients:
  • 1 potato
  • 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Pepper
  • Salt


Instructions:
Wash the potatoes and pat dry. Slice your potatoes into 1/2 inch thick sticks.

Toss with oil, garlic, salt and pepper and place in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 20 minutes at 370°F. Open the basket and shake fries a couple of times throughout the cook cycle.

Add more salt and pepper if needed. 



Toast

Ingredients:
  • Bread
  • Butter (optional)


Instructions:
Place bread in the air fryer

Toast at 400 for 3 minutes. Flip and toast for an additional 2 minutes. 

Remove from the air fryer basket, cut in half, spread some butter on it, Enjoy



Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients: 
  • 2 cups brussels sprouts
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper


Instructions: 
Trim and quarter the Brussels sprouts and toss in a large bowl with the olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Air fry at 350 for 5 minutes. Shake and fry for an additional 2 minutes. 

Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy!


Bacon

Ingredients:
  • Bacon

Instructions:
Place bacon in the air fryer.

Set the temperature at 400 degrees, and set the timer for 5-8 minutes.

Check it halfway through to see if anything needs to be rearranged. Enjoy!



Chicken

Ingredients: 
  • Chicken breast
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper


Instructions:
Brush the chicken breast with olive oil.

Sprinkle one side with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Place the breast in the air fryer basket seasoned side down. Then season the other side.

Roast at 360° for 9 minutes (for 8 oz chicken breast). Then flip the chicken breast over and cook for another 9 minutes. Larger chicken breasts need more cook time, and smaller ones need less time. Enjoy!
