4th of July Inspired Recipes Reading Accessorize your Air Fryer! 21 minutes Next Sweet Treats for the Summer

Did you just upgrade to our new 5.3 Quart Air Fryer Series? Or maybe you’re late to the air frying game and it’s your first one? Whatever the case may be, getting familiar with a new kitchen gadget AND its accessories can be very frustrating. Well, we have you covered with all the important information you need to know about this air fryer and how to get the very best use out of all of the accessories. Plus, enjoy the tasty recipes below that feature each accessory!

This air fryer features a more sleek, innovative look that is offered in Black, Red and Mint. It still has a wide temperature range from 170°F – 400°F and an extended cooking time of up to 60 minutes. You can still enjoy the presets that vary from Fries, Pork, Chicken, Shrimp, Steak, Cake, Vegetables and Fish. This appliance includes many safety features, such as an automatic shut off to prevent overheating and a cool-touch handle that is equipped with a button guard to prevent any accidental detachment. This air fryer is still large enough to feed your whole family and compact enough to fit on your kitchen counter.

Our accessory set includes a silicone muffin tin, kebab rack, toasting rack, extra standard rack, baking pan, pizza pan, silicone resting mat, silicone mitts, clamp tongs and a pack of parchment paper! The muffin tin is great for baking muffins and cups of all kinds. Silicone material makes it safe for the air fryer and is durable, easy to clean and you can slide your food right out of it. The kebab rack fits nicely in this appliance where you can make some tasty veggie or fruit skewers or a juicy piece of meat. The toasting rack is perfect for toast, tacos and pie shaped desserts. The baking and pizza pan are similar in size and shape that can be used for desserts, pizza or roasting garlic! The silicone mat is perfect for resting your accessories or dishes on once you take them out of the air fryer to cool down or rest your utensils on to avoid a messy counter! The silicon mitts are small enough to grab your accessories from the air fryer and transfer to the counter and they’re also made of air fryer safe material – silicone. If you don’t like using oven mitts, then no problem! Use our clamp tongs to safely get your food out of the air fryer. And lastly – parchment paper is an absolute must in our opinion. It protects your appliance from normal wear and tear, peeling and rusting. When using parchment paper, you won’t need to oil or spray your basket. And it saves so much time with cleanup, because it will soak up most of the grease and unwanted residue.

Air frying alone makes your life easier because of its speedy cooking but go even further and use these accessories to create dishes you didn’t even know were possible in an air fryer!

Cheese & Veggie Egg Cups

Accessory: Air Fryer Silicone Muffin Tin

This delicious breakfast is perfect to take on the go with you when you’re in a rush in the morning or to feed your kids without having to worry about a messy breakfast. It is a healthier option because of the eggs and vegetables, but feel free to go the extra mile and utilize dairy free cheese or no cheese at all! We opted for bell pepper and onion, but go ahead and add extra veggies or fixings, like jalapenos, tomatoes or zucchini! Half and half is an important ingredient to ensure you can achieve a soft and fluffy egg cup. A fork or whisk is all that is needed to whisk the mixture up real quick, you won’t need to pull out your electric mixer for this one. We took advantage of the accessory set included and used the silicone muffin tin, but feel free to use your own air fryer safe muffin tin. Don’t forget to grease your muffin tin with olive oil, butter or the cooking spray of your choice, so that your veggie cups don’t stick to the bottom or burn. This dish made 7 servings of veggie cups that we served with a cup of steaming coffee! Other breakfast options you could make in this accessory are cinnamon rolls, oatmeal cups or even mini pancakes!

Cranberry Muffins

Accessory: Air Fryer Silicone Muffin Tin

These muffins offer a sweet, crumbly and delicious taste that are perfect to snack on or eat while you’re on the go. We used dried cranberries for this recipe, but you could also use fresh, frozen or canned ones! We opted not to use canned ones or cranberry sauce as we knew it would change the color of the muffins to a purple color. Sugar really compliments the bitter taste from the cranberries and is used to coat the cranberries. Simply use a wooden spoon to mix the ingredients together, you do not need to pull out the whisk or electric mixer for this. We utilized our silicone muffin tin that was included with the air fryer; however, you could also use silicone muffin liners or an air fryer safe muffin tin of your own. We recommend the muffin tin, so you don’t have to worry about your muffins flying around in the air fryer. It is crucial to spray your accessory with cooking spray or oil, so your muffins don’t stick to the bottom or burn. You only need to fill each tin ¾ of the way to ensure they don’t bubble over and create a mess. Place the accessory in the air fryer and bake away. Remember to use the oven mitts or tongs included or your own to take the muffins out. Once they have cooled, you can push the muffins up from the bottom of each tin, so they will easily slide out and gently grab them with a pair of tongs and set them onto a serving plate.

Bacon Wrapped Brussel Sprouts

Accessory: Air Fryer Kebab Rack

This dish serves as a tasty appetizer or snack. Brussel sprouts are extremely healthy too! They are high in vitamins, fiber and potassium and help boost your immune system, improve bone strength and increase your metabolism. If you aren’t fond of Brussel sprouts, feel free to replace them with another vegetable, such as zucchini or broccoli! You could also switch up the marinade and use balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce or sesame oil instead of soy sauce. It is important to use uncooked bacon rather than partially or fully cooked, so your bacon isn’t left burnt or crispier than the Brussel sprouts. We took advantage of the kebab rack included with our air fryer, but feel free to use your own metal or wooden skewers. If you use wooden skewers, remember to soak them in water 1 hour prior to using them. This recipe can be made in a regular air fryer, air fryer oven or on the grill too! The bacon and Brussel sprouts are ready to eat once they are both crispy but go ahead and leave them in a little longer if you want them crispier!

Cajun Shrimp & Sausage Veggie Skewers

Accessory: Air Fryer Kebab Rack

This recipe is the perfect summertime dish that you can enjoy inside with your family or outside at any gathering. It’s super simple to make too - just toss everything in a bowl, season it up, place on your skewers and done! Prepping your meats and veggies first is ideal to save you time and that way you can just thread your skewers and throw them in. We selected pre-cooked shrimp, but feel free to use frozen or fresh shrimp too. We used pork sausage, but go ahead and use chicken sausage or a different meat entirely! Switch up the veggies too by using corn, onions, mushrooms or jalapenos. The Cajun seasoning brought a spicy taste to the mix. Go the extra mile and make your own Cajun seasoning! Adding in vegetables, such as bell peppers brings a sweeter flavor to the dish. We took advantage of our kebab rack, but feel free to use your own metal or wooden skewers, as well. Depending on the size of your skewer and how much you put on each one, you could make 8-10 with this recipe. Prepare these skewers using a regular air fryer, air fryer oven or an indoor or outdoor grill. Serve this with delicious sides, such as fried pineapple, coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, baked beans or fruit salad!

Blackberry Pies

Accessory: Air Fryer Toasting Rack

The spring and summertime are the perfect seasons to make all of your blackberry recipes like this one! The original recipe called for making the dough from scratch, however we used premade dough. Feel free to do whichever one you prefer. If you are preparing your own dough, take use of our silicone mat to roll the dough out, which will prevent sticking to your counter top. Blackberries aren’t just delicious, they’re beneficial too! They are packed with nutrients, such as Manganese, Vitamin K and Vitamin C. They also help promote mental health, a healthy cardiovascular system, and healthy skin! You could lie them flat in the air fryer or take advantage of the accessories and use the toasting rack. Don’t forget to spray the rack with cooking spray to prevent sticking or burning. It is also a good idea to flip your pies halfway through to ensure even cooking. This tasty dessert can be cooked in your air fryer, traditional oven or even fried on your stove top! You could eat these alone or add the glaze on top, whichever is your preference. If you use the glaze, allow the glaze to harden up for a few minutes before serving them. Enjoy this treat with a bowl of fresh blackberries and a cup of cold milk!

Sweet Potato Toast

Accessory: Air Fryer Toasting Rack

This tasty snack is versatile enough to be served as a breakfast, lunch, snack or dinner option! We put a fun twist on this dish by switching out traditional bread with sweet potato toast. The crispy and crunchiness from the sweet potato compliments any topping you choose! Top it with your desired ingredients, but here are a few of our favorite combinations:

  • Almond Butter, apple slices, and honey
  • Hazelnut spread, banana, and chopped walnuts
  • Cream cheese, sliced strawberries, and chia seeds
  • Mashed avocado with lime, cilantro, and red pepper flakes
  • Fried egg with Sriracha

This snack can be made in our air fryer using the toasting rack, toaster, air fryer oven or your traditional oven! Save extra slices of sweet potato toast for later by storing them in an airtight container in your refrigerator for up to a week. To reheat, pop them back in the air fryer or a toaster for a couple of minutes and voila!

Monkey Bread

Accessory: Air Fryer Baking Pan

Monkey Bread is the perfect pastry that you can enjoy for breakfast or as an evening dessert. The original recipe called for Swerve as the natural sweetener, but feel free to use Stevia, Truvia or coconut sugar! You can also use regular milk or almond milk, just make sure that it is unsweetened. Xanthan gum is a crucial ingredient to thicken up the consistency of this recipe since you will be rolling the dough into a ball shape. We didn’t have any whey protein powder on hand, so we omitted that ingredient, but feel free to use it to get your protein intake in! Cutting the butter before mixing is an important step to ensure the butter will easily mix with the other ingredients without making a mess. Adding toasted pecans to the sauce gives this dish that extra crunchiness. Remember to place the bread evenly in the baking pan and make sure the ball shapes are even in size and thickness, so it will cook evenly at the same time. When it is done cooking, turn the baking pan upside down onto a serving plate to easily get the bread out. We cut this recipe in half but feel free to make the whole recipe if you want a couple of batches!

Roasted Tomatillo Salsa

Accessory: Air Fryer Baking Pan

We selected tomatillos as the star ingredient of our salsa, because besides the amazing flavor, they add a vibrant green color to any of your recipes. They can also be eaten raw, roasted, blended or jammed! Tomatillos offer a citrusy tangy flavor and using lime juice just added to that. Husking a tomatillo is easy, you simply peel off the papery husk and rinse them in water to get rid of any residue. Tomatillos and jalapeno peppers gave it a spicy kick while garlic added more flavor. Roasting the garlic just enhances the taste even more. Using the baking pan to roast the garlic is ideal to keep it altogether and that way you only have to clean the pan, not the whole basket. If you don’t have our accessory set, any oven safe pan will do the trick. Pair this salsa with tortilla chips, pita bread or on top of any Mexican dishes like enchiladas or tacos! Tomatillos are so universal to use in any recipe you wish, so if you aren’t fond of this salsa dish, then utilize them in salads, guacamole, eggs, soups and applesauce!

Chocolate Zucchini Bread

Accessory: Air Fryer Pizza Pan

The balance of chocolate and zucchini makes this a healthy AND delicious treat. Using zucchini adds moisture, texture and nutrition to your baking. Make this a hearty option by substituting gluten free flour, an egg replacer or dairy free butter. The pizza pan included in the accessory set with our air fryer is what we used, but feel free to use your own pizza or baking pan. We used olive oil cooking spray to grease the pizza pan, but you could also use coconut oil, shortening or butter! We did not have shredded zucchini, so feel free to chop your strands up smaller to achieve that shredded texture. Utilizing chocolate chips gives this recipe a more rich and sweeter taste that made it extra chocolatey. It is important to remember that when the bread is done cooking to let it cool on a wire rack first before storing in an airtight container. Serve this rich dessert with a glass of cold milk or some chocolate banana pudding!

Spicy Peanuts

Accessory: Air Fryer Pizza Pan

Peanuts are a super food with so many health benefits that it’s a no brainer to include this ingredient in any of your recipes. They help improve your memory, promote clear skin and give you good heart health. They are also packed with healthy fats, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Peanuts are the best nut for roasting, cooking or frying. If you aren’t fond of peanuts, then switch to a sweeter nut like cashews or a saltier nut like almonds. We wanted a sweet and spicy flavor added to the peanuts, so we utilized sugar for the sweetness and cayenne pepper to give them a kick. When melting the butter, you can use the microwave or the stove top oven. If you are in a hurry to devour this snack, then we recommend you use the microwave. We took advantage of our pizza pan included with the air fryer, but you could also use an air fryer safe baking pan or parchment paper and just stick the peanuts right in the air fryer. It is very important to break them up and stir and shake them to ensure even cooking.

Five Cheese Pull Apart Bread

Accessory: Air Fryer Standard Extra Rack

This dish serves best as an appetizer or side for the whole family to enjoy. We used the most addicting and tasty ingredients – bread and cheese to create the perfect dish you’ll be coming back for seconds and thirds for! Sourdough or Ciabatta would be the best breads to use as they are softer. We didn’t have Edam cheese available to use, we so utilized Gouda cheese which is similar. Gouda isn’t as creamy and has a dryer texture then Edam, but still very similar. We also used Brie cheese in place of the soft cheese. Soft cheese simply means it has a lot of moisture in it making it spreadable. Other examples of soft cheeses are Camembert, Stracchino and Taleggio. Take advantage of chives and garlic to give this bread some more season and spice. Make this recipe more filling by adding ham, mushrooms, bacon or even a fried egg! We used the standard rack to show you it’s more than just a cooling rack. The air fryer is still big enough to fit your dish AND the rack. Simply take the bread out at the end along with the rack and allow it to cool. It is best served with marinara sauce or the sauce of your choosing!

Cherry Glazed Chicken Wings

Accessory: Air Fryer Standard Extra Rack

This dish achieves a sweet and spicy flavor. They are spicy because of the hot sauce and sweet because of the cherry preserves. We used the chicken wings as they were, but you could also cut through the wing joints and discard the wing tips if desired. The original recipe called for canola oil, but you could also use vegetable oil! Different types of hot sauces you could try are Chili Garlic Sauce, Mexican Green Habanero Sauce or Sriracha Sauce! We whipped up the sauce using the stove top and then transferred the wings to the air fryer to cook them. Feel free to use the Pressure Cooker and the Sauté setting for the sauce and the stove top oven or regular Air Fryer for the wings. We took advantage of the rack again in the air fryer and while they were cooling off. It is important to flip your wings halfway through to ensure they don’t burn, and one side doesn’t cook more than the other. Use a meat thermometer to be sure your chicken is done; the temperature should be at 165°F. Serve your chicken wings with dipping sauces, such as Spicy Peanut Sauce, Chipotle Mayonnaise or Creamy Ranch Sauce!

Brazilian Pineapple

Accessory: GoWISE USA Parchment Paper

This fruity dish is excellent as a delectable appetizer or luscious dessert! Fresh pineapple has so many health benefits, such as bone strength, digestion, immune system support and more! An easy way to cut a pineapple is to start by cutting the crown and stem off and slicing the skin off. Then, cut the pineapple in half lengthwise and then slice the rest into slices, chunks or strands! To give this recipe an extra sweet crunch, roll the pineapple wedges in coconut flakes before air frying. Or add the coconut flakes to your lime dip! Using brown sugar and honey sweetens up and compliments the tangy taste left from the lime juice and paprika. We sprinkled paprika on top to give it that extra zing, but feel free to omit that ingredient if you aren’t fond of it. Using parchment paper was perfect for this recipe to ensure it soaked up the leftover pineapple juice and marinade. Doing this also helps with an easier clean up in the end. We recommend refrigerating your dip until you’re ready to serve it to ensure it stays safe to eat and to maintain its flavor. Make a healthier and dairy free dip by utilizing dairy free yogurt and cream cheese! If it’s too much lime for you, go ahead and serve another dip, such as marshmallow, chocolate or raspberry lemon fruit dip!
