In honor of NATIONAL PB&J DAY tomorrow, we decided to recreate the viral TikTok Air Fried Uncrustables Donuts! Lemme tell you, they did not disappoint! They were so good and we were able to enjoy these in under 15 minutes.
For our recreation, we used the Strawberry Jam and Peanut Butter sandwich. We made the hole in the center with a cake decorating tip, but use a doughnut cutter if you have one available!
After air frying, we coated some in cinnamon sugar and some in powdered sugar. The coatings and toppings possibilities are endless with this concept!
There are other flavors you can try this trend with! They also have:
- Grape Jam and Peanut Butter
- Peanut Butter and Honey
- Chocolate Hazelnut.
We are already thinking about the peanut butter and Honey air fried sandwich with a chocolate drizzle!!!
Ingredients

Any Uncrustables sandwich

Cooking spray
-
Doughnut cutter, or anything that can cut a small circle

Desired toppings (cinnamon sugar mixture, powdered sugar, honey, chocolate drizzle)

Defrost the Uncrustables until they reach room temperature.

Cut a hole in the center of the sandwich.

Place the 4 sandwiches into the air fryer basket and spray each side with the cooking spray.

Cook at 370°F for about 8 minutes, flipping them halfway through.

While they are hot, toss or coat them in your topping of choice.

Serve warm for best results and enjoy!
