This dish achieves a sweet and spicy flavor. Serve your chicken wings with dipping sauces, such as Spicy Peanut Sauce, Chipotle Mayonnaise or Creamy Ranch Sauce!
12 chicken wings
3 tbsp canola oil, divided
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cup ketchup
½ cup apple cider vinegar
½ cup cherry preserves
2 tbsp Louisiana-style hot sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
3 tsp salt, divided
1 tsp ground pepper, divided
In a small saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Then, add in the garlic and cook and stir for 1 minute. Stir in ketchup, vinegar, cherry preserves, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon pepper. Cook and stir until heated through.
Brush the wings with remaining oil and sprinkle with remaining salt and pepper.
Place the wings on the standard rack in the air fryer and air fry them at 350°F for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Brush with glaze during the last 5 minutes of air frying.
Serve with remaining glaze.
