Hot Blooded Margarita

This deliciously spicy margarita combines the fresh flavors of jalapeño and raspberry to provide a unique experience. Do you dare to give it a try?

Hot Blooded Margarita



2 oz tequila

2 oz peach juice

1 oz Raspberry puree

½ oz lime juice

½ oz jalapeño simple syrup, or to taste (recipe listed below)

Lime wedge, to garnish

Coarse salt, to rim


Simple Jalapeño Syrup


1 cup sugar

1 cup water

1 jalapeño, sliced with seeds



Boil water, then add the sugar and stir until dissolved

Pour syrup into bowl and add jalapeño

Allow syrup to cool and infuse for 30-60 minutes

Remove jalapeño. Store in fridge.



Drink directions:

Run a lime wedge around the rim of the cocktail glass and dip the rim in the salt. Fill with ice.

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the raspberry puree, tequila, peach juice, and lime juice. Cover and shake vigorously.

Strain the mixture into the salt rimmed cocktail glass over ice. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve.
