Everyone loves tacos and tacos made in the air fryer are even better! Juicy skirt steak marinated in lime juice, garlic, jalapeno and spices and then crowned with a fresh pineapple salsa! These Air Fryer Steak Tacos will give your next taco night an upgrade!
Make a fresh and flavorful Pineapple Salsa to top these tacos with pineapple, jalapeno, cilantro, onion, garlic and lime juice! Add any other toppings you would like, but we thing you won't need to!
Ingredients
- 1 lb. skirt steak
- 1/4 cup jalapeno, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 3 Tbsp lime juice
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp cumin
Pineapple Salsa
- 1 cup pineapple, diced
- 1 Tbsp jalapeno, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, diced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Combine all of the marinade ingredients together into a Ziploc bag. Add in the skirt steak and shake to coat in the marinade.
- Marinate for at least one hour in the fridge. Remove it from the fridge and let it come to temperature before cooking.
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 400F.
- Add the steak to the basket and cook for about 11 minutes, flipping halfway. This is dependent on the size of your steak and how you enjoy it cooked. We had ours medium rare.
- Dice all the ingredients for the Pineapple Salsa topping and combine everything in a bowl and mix. Set aside.
- Remove the steak and let it rest for about 5-7 minutes and then slice.
- Assemble the tacos and enjoy!
