Enjoy this crispy chicken with a side of cheesy macaroni for a full meal! Stir some dried herbs or a barbecue spice into the baking mix to switch up the taste!
1 tbsp butter
2/3 cup original Bisquick mix
1 ½ tsp paprika
1 ¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 cut-up whole chicken (3 to 3 ½ lbs.)
Heat your Air Fryer Oven to 425°F. In a 13x9 baking dish, melt the butter in the Air Fryer Oven.
In a mixing bowl, stir together the Bisquick mix, paprika, salt and pepper. Place the chicken in the mixture to fully coat.
Place the coated chicken skin sides down in the buttered dish. Insert the dish into your Air Fryer Oven and bake for 35 minutes. After 35 minutes, turn the chicken and cook for an additional 15 minutes, or until the juice of the chicken is clear. Remember that chicken should have an internal temperature of 165°F.
Once the chicken is done cooking, remove from the oven and enjoy this with Nana’s macaroni!
